The fully refined and streetwise Frozen Range Parka has a 3-in-1 design that keeps you sheltered no matter what weather conditions come your way. Built for the worst weather but open to the possibilities of sunny skies ahead, the multifunctional design lets you wear the shell alone in the rain; add the zip-out jacket for cold, wet conditions; or slip on just the jacket when the skies clear. The 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric shell, made of a recycled nylon and spandex blend with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and a soft flannel backer, is completely waterproof, windproof and breathable for absolute storm protection. A smooth internal polyester ripstop lining (100% recycled) wicks moisture, dries quickly and glides over layers. Shell details include a snorkel-style hood; a full, two-way front zipper protected by an external storm flap with an interior wind flap; a zip-through collar and chin flap lined with soft microfleece; and adjustable cuffs with two snap closures. The hooded zip-out jacket attaches to the shell via the front zipper and snapped loops at the cuffs and neck. The jacket is insulated with extremely warm 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products) that is highly compressible and lightweight. Jacket features include interior baffling; insulated hood; a full front zipper with a zip-through stand-up collar; handwarmer pockets lined with microfleece; an interior security pocket with a zipper closure and an adjustable hem with hidden drawcords. Shell pockets include zippered handwarmer pockets (lined for softness); a zippered chest pocket and two interior pockets (one drop-in and one zippered).
