Tested true: boils water in < 2minutes. Slick look with neon green trim and heat sensor window. However, the base support broke on first use and the French press left coffee grounds aplenty in my brew.

We love using our flash to make quick meals and coffee in. Heats water to a boil quickly. One thing to note is you can't have your coffee ground too fine or you'll get grounds through the filter.

This is my Second Jet Boil Java. I love it! I motorcycle camp and need something small, lightweight and efficient. I can quickly boil water for freezedried evening meals. Or for campsite cleanup. in the morning great oatmeal and then of course, coffee. It does it all. the small Butane tank will last me about 5-7 days of three times a day usage. Everything fits compactly within the mug itself. Love the way the outside turns colors once the water reaches proper temp

This is my 2nd Jet Boil. I love these, the wind break on this is so much better and more effective than the competitors, Plus the Java kit allows you to make coffee without having to add an additional French press.

I have have used the Java Jet Boil in various climates camping and with the army for more than 15 years. This stove has been amazing as it has always worked, has been light weight and a part of my kit for more than 15 years. I upgraded to the sumo coffee press when I'm in the duck blind or with a group. This item is definitely for a beginners and novices. This item is a Must have for emergencies. Butane fuel is easy to store and cheap. I gave this score of 5 stars as it is well built, easy to use, light weight, durable and dependable.
